What a beautiful horse! The sunlight makes his coat look like it's glowing. I myself have a little Arabian mare. Horses are such great subjects for photos, aren't they?

Great job with the horse series - you did a great job composing and stopping the action.

Thank you!!! I am ';practicing'..Jennifer and I have a "shoot" in October. Our first offical one. It is really hers, but she has asked me to be a part of it, which I feel honored. We are trying to get a photography business going. We are not going to ever be in National Geographic or anything like that, but with the spread of word in the Equestrian field,we should be able to at least get off to a good start. We are working on a website, business cards, etc...it is very exciting. Our focus will be mainly on the Equestrian, but we have been asked to also do a shoot with a baby. And people are showing interest in holiday shoots as well. I have been studying and doing a lot of practicing. As long as we stayed focused and remember to have fun with this, it should all be a wonderful experience. Let me know if you have any ideas or tips for us...I respect your opinion

That sounds great - I noticed the new watermark so I was wondering if you were starting a photo business. I guess my suggestion would be about lighting. I would make sure that you have the right lighting equipment to shoot in any situation. I don't know what you have in the way of flashes. Or if you have practiced any fill flash and bounce flash techniques. If you are going to be doing portrait work this will be important since you can't always count on being able to use natural light.

Other than that it should be good.

Congrats on your first shoot.
